but also perfectly suited for a city trip! top location near the main station. 5 min walking distance to the next s-bahn (Hackerbrücke. 2min at the main station. 4min at marienplatz.) 12€ taxi to marienplatz. Well thought out concept. Everything available what you need, water boiler and coffee, nice helpful room service, let you sleep in a very big and comfortable bed, refrigerator. Important for smokers: big balcony! Enough storage space for luggage, quiet atmosphere, friendly, uncomplicated check-in, "grab 'n go" at reception, some kind of self-service "hotel kiosk", water, beer, snacks, what you just need. If you don't want to go out anymore (at fair prices), really cosy little hotelbar in "sportbar-style" with delicious snacks (try the pizza!). Gut feeling: i felt really comfortable there and that counts (for me) that's why you can always book again!
OK underground parking lot with 24€/d borderline. View: 5th floor building site (not disturbing on the we) but also the alps!.

the suites are really very spacious. fully equipped kitchenette. very large comfortable beds. perfect location with good infrastructure (around the corner an italian restaurant. supermarket + organic supermarket. pharmacy etc.). still one of the best business hotels in munich! and super friendly competent staff!
whining on a high level! but: exorbitant prices in the parking garage. sorry! the very small and narrow bathroom! tip: take a room in the courtyard (quiet and much bigger balcony + better view. huge beds with huge ceilings. which feel like they weigh 20 kg. unfortunately the own bar in the hotel (which is actually very nice) is being neglected, maybe it's because of the new infrastructure around the hotel? in any case. it should be brought to life (some new offers? some specials?) who likes to sit down for a beer in a totally deserted room? and oh yes: in munich no light and only serving pilsner?????? no go

You have what you need, nice and clean, near the center.
Near but not in the center, nearby nothing nice, hotel is pretty cold. Breakfast is nothing special.

Spacious and clean rooms, the location of the hotel is good as it is not in the crowded areas but still close to city center, very coperative and frindly reception staff. Moreover, very good value for money.
At times you wait for a while till you get the elevator(1 elevator in each wing)

Location was good, in a quiet area in the city about 15 minutes walking from Marienplatz.

Newly renovated hotel with spacious rooms. Everything was very clean and well maintained. Relatively short walking distance to the city center. Staff was very professional and competent.
One small and slow elevator. Window in the room on the "2nd floor" was at the level of the large public terrace and we were uncomfortable because it seemed like someone can enter the room while the window is opened. And the "view" was terrible :( Breakfast was good but over-priced. We had better food selection on other Munich hotels for almost half of the price.

Large and very nice and comfortable room; bathroom a bit small, but with everything it needs. We requested for a room at a higher floor and we've been given one at the last floor. Although we are very sensitive to noise (both from outside and inside the hotel), there was none during our stay (hotel is next to a small park).
Not that close to karlsplatz/marienplatz: 25-30 minutes walking. Internet connection for room a bit expensive: 20 euro/day; lobby internet connection free though (but rather slow).

Good location as we came to visit our son who lives just up the road. Very nice room with balcony, clean and comfortable.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
